MMRGlobal Selling Prepaid Personal Health Record Card to 50,000 In-Home Health and Assisted Living Patients

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/09/12 -- MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) ("MMR"), a leading provider of Personal Health Records (PHRs), MyEsafeDepositBox storage solutions and electronic document management and imaging systems for healthcare professionals, today announced agreements with VIDA Senior Resource, Inc. (www.vidaseniorresource.com) to sell its patented personal health record products and services to more than 50,000 patients of VIDA Senior Resource, Assisted Transition and Senior Helpers. VIDA is a family owned and operated community resource organization headquartered in Boise, Idaho which provides senior home care services nationwide through a network of certified owned and operated agencies. MMR and VIDA will begin nationwide sales and training next week.

As a result of MMR's introduction of its Prepaid Personal Health Record card at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, VIDA saw how using the cards as an activation tool would enable them to securely set up and track a high value personal health record service from clients' homes. VIDA has more than 6,000 non-medical, visiting Senior Helpers (www.seniorhelpers.com) who will offer a private branded version of the Company's Prepaid Personal Health Record card (http://www.mmrglobal.com/VIDA) to more than 35,000 patients in their homes.

According to Bob Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMRGlobal, "We are most excited about the opportunity with VIDA because, for the first time, we will see a PHR activated and maintained as part of the regular job description of the Senior Helper at no additional cost." To ensure that every VIDA patient can use the PHR as often as necessary, MMR will provide a fax machine in the subscriber's home, where needed, as part of the $19.95 per month or $200.00 per year service offering.

VIDA will also offer the services to as many as 10,000 Senior Resource clients and approximately 10,000 Assisted Transition clients (www.assistedtransition.com/). According to Glen Amador, CEO of VIDA Senior Resource, Inc., "One of the challenges in managing a senior care services organization is not only to provide the best of care to the patient but also to provide the best communication to the family and treating physicians. MMR's Personal Health Record is designed to ensure communication among all parties in the senior care loop by sending a copy of any record added to an account to the senior's family members and physicians as updates are made. The system will also manage scheduling of appointments and prescription reminders while warning against potentially dangerous drug interactions."

The MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record helps the entire family track their health, maintain their medical records, and manage all their important life documents for secure, easy access from any Internet-connected device to help coordinate care in the clinical and home setting and to make immediately available potentially life-saving information in the event of an emergency or other natural disaster. Every VIDA MMR Personal Health Record account will also be usable by additional family members, and can also maintain veterinarian records for the family's pets. This enables family members to be involved in the primary VIDA patient's care while they can also utilize the service to have greater control over their own health.

VIDA is a world-class leader in providing in-home, non-medical healthcare home workers as well as assisting seniors transfer from in-home to assisted living facilities. It is estimated that more than one million Americans currently live in assisted living facilities, and that number is anticipated to get larger as 77 million baby boomers move into retirement. Moreover, there are an estimated 6.5 million seniors who currently require assistance with activities of daily living and the U.S. Census Bureau reports that number is expected to double by 2020, which is indicative of why home care and the home healthcare industry is expected to grow by more than 40% in the next five years and with it the need for technology tools like personal health records to better coordinate care.
